Google+ heeft een update met belangrijke toevoegingen als real-time zoekresultaten en verbetering van het hashtag gebruik.

De grootste verandering in de Google+ search is de beschikbaarheid van real-time zoekresultaten. Als men nu een zoekactie ingeeft in Google+ dan zie je boven de zoekresultaten een link verschijnen met ‘more recent post(s)’ of  ’meer recente bericht(en)’. Datzelfde geldt voor het Tropentheater en de bijbehorende bibliotheek. Het ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken heeft besloten eind 2012 de totale subsidie van 20 miljoen euro aan het Koninklijk Instituut voor de Tropen niet meer te verstrekken.
